Data Hour: Data Sharing in der Biomedizin. Die Perspektive internationaler Forschungsförderer
Michael Anger, Christian Wendelborn, Christoph Schickhard (Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum DKFZ)
Our talk presents the work of some local research projects investigating ethical, legal, and social aspects around data sharing. One of our projects – DATABLIC – is presented in more detail. Its research question is the following: How could and should funding agencies design their policies in order to foster data sharing? As part of our investigation, we conducted expert interviews with leading international funders. We lay out and discuss some of our results on the perspectives, reasonings and expectations of funding agencies with regard to their data sharing policies.
